General Eduards KALNIŅŠ (L.k.o.k.) (31 Dec 1876 - 28 Jun 1964)
Having served in the Russian Army, joined the Latvian Army in January 1919 as Lieutenant-Colonel, having served as unofficial Latvian Military Attache to Finland. He fled to Sweden in 1944 and ten years later to the USA where he died.
