General Žanis BACHS (L.k.o.k.) (16 Oct 1885 - 16 Oct 1941)
Joined the Latvian Army as a Captain, following service in the Russian Army, on December 13, 1918. Following the Russian take-over of Latvia, was arrested and deported to the USSR, where he was tried and executed.
