General Vilis SPANDEGS (L.k.o.k.) (19 Dec 1890 - 16 Oct 1941)
Following service in the Russian Army, joined the Latvian Army as Captain on June 9, 1919. Arrested in 1941 by the Russians, he was sent to Moscow, tried and executed.
